Estuardo Rodriguez led a discussion about the need for Hispanic businesspeople to support MCCP Foundation so that the children get the health and dental care they need, and the playing field for them is leveled. Margery Sher provided research data showing that community involvement is beneficial to business in terms of PR, recruitment and retention, and competitive differentiation. Danny Vargas talked about the importance of a simple, clear message that the group participants can carry forward into the community. Victor Armengol spoke to the need to raise the MCCP Foundation visibility, and several Hispanic Business Council members had suggestions of other venues for speaking and networking.
The next breakfast will be held in early August.
