Dave Joubran, President and CEO of Acumen Solutions, Inc. presented a check to Margery Leveen Sher, Executive Director of the Medical Care for Children Partnership (MCCP) Foundation at the Acumen reception celebrating the Acumen Race for a Cause at the Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner. Ms. Sher expressed her gratitude for the support, and noted Acumen’s grant will enable many children to receive the medical and dental care they need. Acumen Solutions sponsors an annual race, with the proceeds benefiting a number of non-profit organizations in the area.
MCCP Foundation funds health care for the children of uninsured working families in Fairfax County. Despite being one of the wealthiest counties in the nation, there are many thousands of children in our community who don't have access to doctors and dentists when they need them. This is a critical problem. Good health is essential to school success, and for attaining the foundation for a successful life. MCCP Foundation is a proven model of a public/private partnership that works to solve an urgent community problem.
